Introducing: Feed Technology Innovation Center

Kansas State University’s Department of Grain Science and Industry and the Department of Animal Science and Industry are jointly constructing a new O.H. Kruse Feed Technology Innovation Center. The feed mill facility will be designed and constructed to permit the production of all needed research feeds for the Department of Animal Science on its research farms, and to permit contract and graduate level research and feed related teaching.  Treanor Science & Technology together with McCown Gordon Construction are leading the design build team for this project which is estimated to be complete in the spring of 2013.

Solutions for Integrated Engineering Facilities

Treanor Science & Technology enjoyed a great time at the 2012 Tradeline International Research Facilities Conference in Scottsdale, Arizona. This was Tim Reynolds' third time instructing a pre-conference class on Fundamentals of Planning and Design of Modern Labs & Lab MEP Systems. Dale Glenn and Jennifer Kulseth together with Dr. Marotz from KU School of Engineering presented a forum on solutions for integrated engineering research facilities with the new Measurement, Materials and Sustainable Environment Center at KU as a case study. The presentation was a great success in a beautiful setting at the Hyatt Regency Resort.

Treanor Interiors Lisa Lamb and Anna Newell got their geek on at the Kansas Library Association's annual conference in Wichita. They gave a presentation about creating functional and relaxing environments that invite patrons not just to come to the library, but also to stay. Their presentation shared insights into how any library can implement these design strategies even with limited funding.

Treanor Interiors is working on a furniture package for new fraternity housing at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg Virginia. Treanor Student Life in association with Mosely Architects designed the new housing for 187 students. The project seeks to create living environments that advance the highest and historic values of fraternities.
