Please Forward to anyone in your organization who might be interested in this great opportunity to learn about current trends and topics related to science facility design.

An afternoon of information, knowledge and enjoyment.

Treanor Science & Technology is pleased to host our second annual Science Facility Design Symposium. This year we are honored to feature three informative sessions on the latest trends in planning, programming and design of science facilities by presenters who are frequent speakers at national and international conferences:

  • "A roadmap for successfully planning and programming high performance science facilities": Russ Chernoff, Chernoff Thompson Architects, Vancouver, Canada
  • "Energy costs, labor, and the new complex building systems: What’s lean and doable?": Ken Meschke, PE, LEED AP – Affiliated Engineers, Inc. (AEI), Madison, Wisconsin
  • "Next Generation Laboratory Facilities; The Latest Trends, Building Plans; Layouts and Metrics": Richard Heinz, FAIA, NCARB, LEED AP, Research Facilities Design (RFD), San Diego, California

The symposium will be held at the KU School of Engineering in Lawrence, and includes a tour of the newly completed interdisciplinary engineering research facility: Measurement, Materials and Sustainable Environment Center.

There is no cost to attend this symposium. Lunch and dinner will be provided by Treanor, and continuing education credits will be available for each session.

Hope to see you there!
